**About the Job**

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement automated optical inspection solutions using e.g. Keyence and Cognex vision systems.
- Utilize image processing libraries, including OpenCV and Falcon, to enhance inspection accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AOI systems into production lines and workflows.
- Conduct test and validation process to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of AOI systems.
- Perform failure analysis to identify root causes of inspection errors and implement corrective actions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in vision systems technology to continuously improve inspection processes.

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying AOI solutions using e.g. Keyence and Cognex vision systems.
- In-depth knowledge of image processing techniques and libraries, such as OpenCV and Falcon.
- Strong understanding of system design principles and best practices.
- Experience with validation procedures and failure analysis in AOI systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within cross-functional teams.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Training/Certification in AOI system.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to automated optical inspection.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment.
