Contribute to the overall financial management and success of the organization by providing reliable financial health information, insightful analysis, and strategic guidance that maintains financial transparency, integrity, accountability within the organization, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations to provide accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making by management.
Experiência y requisitos
Professional Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. More than 5 years of experience in accounting or auditing, with progressively increasing responsibility. - Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and IFRS. - Good use of the English language, both verbal and written, - Dominio de MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Excel, Teams) Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. - Manage and supervise accounting staff, including task assignment and guidance. - Perform financial analysis and provide information to support decision-making. - Review and analyze financial data for discrepancies and inconsistencies. - Monitor and analyze budget variances and provide recommendations for improvement. - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and prepare tax returns and working documents in compliance with applicable regulations. Make sure all tax deadlines are met. - Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. - Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and reporting. - Assist with internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations. - Provide support during mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and integration activities. - Stay up-to-date on changes in tax law regulations, assess their impact on the business, and ensure timely compliance. - Supervise and advise junior accounting staff. - They provide guidance, training, and support to develop your team members' skills and ensure that the department is running efficiently.
