MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Execute R2R activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Reconcile general ledgers accounts, verifying accurate GL balances and ensuring proper and relevant support documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and relevant regulatory requirements (such as IFRS, SOX/ICFR)
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the R2R function
- Perform analytical reviews on specific P/L accounts
- Support the external Auditors’ mission

PROBLEMS AND MAJOR ISSUES

The Record to Report function is vital for maintaining financial accuracy and compliance in organizations. Understanding the job description, responsibilities, and the required qualifications is essential for success in this role.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting, financial reporting, and R2R processes.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft standard tools (excel )
- Knowledge of SAP
- Fluent Spanish; English is a must to have.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- A spirit of initiative and autonomy
- A sense of rigor and organization
- Good communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders across different functions
