Credit Bureau Analyst

The primary responsibility of this role is to review payment transactions and exercise sound business judgment and knowledge of policies and procedures in responding to consumers credit disputes, complying with the Fair Credit Reporting Act minimize risks to Nissan Motor Acceptance Company LLC, by responding disputes with high quality.

**Key Responsabilities**:

- Analyst must document the steps and results of the investigation completed. Screen capture of all systems accessed, along with any other data used to make final determination, and attach to customer account record
- CBM Analyst is responsible for ensuring NMAC’s responses are within required timeframes of the FCRA.
- Researching account characteristics and potential system irregularities to resolve most disputes/inquiries, and/or recommend appropriate solutions, if necessary.
- Interfaces with customer facing departments (i.e., Customer Service, Collections, etc.) to resolve customer credit reporting issues including internal requests to modify the reporting of a customer’s payment history and requests for legal documentation.
- As necessary, performs other related duties as assigned within the scope of credit reporting and/or Account Services

**Requirements**:

- Full / In progress Bachelor degree
- Preferred but not required: Prior experience in a credit dispute/credit reporting
- Fluent verbal and written English
- MS Office Intermediate. (Excel and Outlook proficiency)
- Weekday availability to work 48 hrs per week
- Keyboarding and navigation skills between various programs and systems
- Working knowledge of MS Office (intermediate).
