Purchasing Buyer Coordinator - Temporary-
We are looking for an immediate, temporary (6months) position in AMERICAS at Mexico City, Mexico

Job Purpose:

- Roles that manage buying activities with responsibility depending on country / region scope- Facilitate Purchasing transactions to our Business Partners.
- Assist in the execution of Procurement Strategies, guaranteeing the timely and efficient acquisition of products and services required by our internal customers.
- Organize and execute the purchase to pay process ensuring compliance with global, regional and local procedures and policies.
- Explore and capture internal demand; handle non-catalog requests.
- Actively drive the use of Procurement catalogs.
- Build good relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
- Oversee and / or involve in case needed, in the Purchasing support roles.

**Purchasing support roles**:

- Provide administrative support to operational buying activities.
- Assist different day-to-day activities within the Purchasing organization.
- Helpdesk activities: Provide 1st level support, consulting and training, interface to 2nd level support.
- Assistance on Procurement Implementations.

Your tasks:

- Serving as Procurement Professionals:

- Collect and maintain data and ensure data quality maintenance and reporting on rates, catalog, supplier data, performance, contracts, and purchase order management.
- Execute tactical Purchasing process (non-catalog requisitions) within SLA.
- competitive bids (3 bids and 1 buy) and support business by select suppliers based on: price, quality, delivery terms, payment terms, specs for goods / services in an efficient way and in timely manner.
- Contract negotiation and execution with awarded suppliers based on Policies and Guidelines.
- Perform vendor setup process.
- Enter data into databases or other systems to maintain up-to-date supplier information.
- Generate required reporting, analyze reports to accomplish KPI’s. Identify and implement catalog improvements for automation.
- Understand Sourcing Strategy for their Category / Country.
- Provide Procurement trainings to Business Partners
- Validate shopping carts are entered into e-purchasing tool correctly prior to approval (I.e. description).
- Dealing with Key Stakeholders / Business Partners:
- Collaborate with internal customers and Sourcing to understand and meet requirements effectively.
- Proactively communication to provide status, clarify questions or doubts related requisitions with business partners.
- Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
- Provide advice and support to internal customer with specs for required low value goods / services (without a framework contract) in close cooperation with Sourcing.
- Provide feedback to Sourcing pertaining to supplier performance.
- Contribute to the successful cooperation between Region, Sub-Region, Country and Sourcing community.
- Provide guidance to business partners on Procurement process and system usage.
- Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own sub-function.
- Develop a network of contacts to build up relationships and strengthen the organizational, product and market knowledge.

Your Profile:
**Relevant Qualification**:

- Completed university degree and / or equivalent experience

**Required Experience**:

- Min 0 - 3 years of relevant experience in operational functions and especially in Purchasing processes.
- Entry level knowledge of external law regulations
- Knowledge of the relevant supply markets
- Knowledge on supplier onboarding and catalog management.
