Job Summary

Position Summary

To support our extraordinary teams that build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to add a Purchasing Manager Direct located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

The position of Purchasing Manager Direct is responsible for responsible for overseeing activities related to the procurement of direct materials, parts, components, and equipment. Directs and coordinates the activities of procurement personnel in accordance with delivery requirements and quality specifications.

Main responsibilities:

- Review of short films for CTB (Clear to Build).
- Follow up to CFT Meetings.
- Prepares instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.
- Establishes goals and objectives for the purchasing department.
- Develops policies and procedures for the operation of purchasing activities.
- Manage and lead a team of buyers and shippers to meet purchasing and supplier management objectives.
- Interact with purchasing groups to update and maintain company purchasing strategies.
- Implement processes with suppliers to improve on-time delivery and purchase price variation.
- Oversee team in supply chain management to achieve continuous and timely supply of parts and services.
- Prepares, approves and issues purchase orders and change notices through subordinates.
- Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance with company policy.
- Ensures continuity of raw material supply to support production schedules and balances with achievement of inventory level objectives.
- Analyzes inventory levels. Supports the surplus and obsolete material management process.
- Monitors on-time deliveries from suppliers, stock rotation, MRP execution, purchase price variation, lead time reduction, supplier performance and cost analysis.
- Acts as first point of contact with suppliers and communicates all unresolved issues to the Purchasing Manager.
- Work closely with the team to ensure compliance with corporate purchasing directives.

Experience we are looking to add to our team:

- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Fluent English.
- With experience in the electronics industry.
- Intermediate Excel.
- Knowledge of BaaN and Agile would-be a plus.
- NPI experience.
