We are looking for an experienced Senior Software iOS Engineer who cares about delivering cutting-edge software and is passionate about technology which drives digital excellence.

**Responsibilities**:
The role includes, but is not limited to:

- Define, build, and continuously iterate iOS experiences to support existing and explore new projects to improve the Porsche Customer experience and integration into the digital Porsche ecosystem.
- Own and become a resident expert in various areas of iOS development.
- Closely collaborate with local and global product teams (Product Owners, UI/UX,Engineering, Analytics, etc.) to develop reliable, scalable, and sustainable software solutions.
- Ensure all code is effectively unit tested prior to being released to either the quality assurance team or user acceptance testing team.
- Be an advocate of modern software development practices.
- Stay abreast of the latest technologies and digital trends.

**Skills**:

- Holistic understanding of end-to-end data flow between containerized services and mobile clients.
- Experience with implementing complex designs.
- Familiar with quick code iterations and fail-fast approaches.
- Experienced in working in an agile development environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with highly scalable, highly available systems and services.
- Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, such as CI, TDD, BDD, Infrastructure as Code, and Test Automations.
- Advanced English language skills (oral and written). English is our official language.
- Team player.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
- Master’s degree preferred.

**Experience**:

- 7+ years of software development.
- 5+ years of iOS development.
- 3+ years of UI testing, Storyboards and Xcode.
- Strong knowledge of Objective-C and Swift.
- Experience in continuous integration.
- Knowledge of iOS back-end services.
- Vast experience with multiple iOS frameworks.
- Familiarity with different C-based libraries.
- Clear idea about push notifications, RESTful APIs, & cloud messaging.
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
- Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
- Experience of working in a global team-set up and multi-team environment.
- Proficiency in test automation and accessibility requirements.

**The position is based in Guadalajara. We will be working on a hybrid model with in-office days and home-office days.
