Estimator

**FUNCTION**: Support the Business Unit and Sales team to develop and publish tooling costs and produce piece prices per customer RFQs.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Consult with personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
- Confer with personnel on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
- Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or to effect cost reduction.
- Provide accurate estimates for custom products per RFQs. Individual files are kept for each costing exercise and are stored for later reference or evaluation.
- In cooperation with engineers, sales and manufacturing personnel, assure estimates are completed accurately on a timely basis.
- Contact sales to resolve quotation, pricing, drawing specifications or other issues to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Responsible for any other special projects as assigned.

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- 1-2 years technical engineering in plastics mold injection environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills, self-motivated and well organized
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must be self motivated and have the ability to problem solve
- Excellent written and verbal skills

- technical engineering in plastics mold injection: 2 años (Obligatorio)
