**What you’ll do?**

**What you’ll bring**:

- Responsible for the design, development, management and implementation of cloud native APIs including the build and testing on Google Cloud Platform’s (GCP) Apigee EDGE API management platform.
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in API management platforms (Apigee [required], MuleSoft, etc) and API related activities: requirement analysis, solution architecture and design, resource-based API modeling, micro-services architecture.
- Create reusable API platform services including Logging, Monitoring, Authentication and Security.
- Strong problem solving, communication, and technical writing skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively work both independently and within cross-functional project teams. Effectively communicate issues, risks and dependencies with project stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.
- Participate in defining the operating model including platform support, code reviews, production deployments, and implementing the security and infrastructure standards.
- Experience with DevOps tools like TeamCity, Urban Deploy, Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket etc. for API promotions.
- Good knowledge of Micro gateway and GCP/Kubernetes/Anthos based Hybrid model
- Very good understanding of setting up High availability, load balancing and failover configurations with Apigee
- Good Communication
- Flexibility to work North American hours
