**Responsibilities**:

- Local tax accounting:

- Preparation of BNPP Mexico and BNPP Permanent Establishment Mexico tax returns
- Calculation of deferred taxes
- Monthly accounting reconciliation and certification of tax related accounts
- Other tax reporting/filings such as CFDIs, WHT and FATCA
- Prepare and file Information requests from tax authorities
- Update and follow ups of tax policies and procedures and other tax ad-hoc requests
- Support in bank examinations and internal and external audits for tax related topics
- Support the team on ongoing projects/tasks:

- Support on budget preparation and monitoring for tax related expense
- Support on new product initiatives from a tax standpoint
- Identify, escalate, and remediate data quality issues
- Comply with all applicable regulations (local or those defined by Group) and BNPP internal policies, this includes but is not limited to Financial Security, Know Your Client/Costumer/Supplier, Due Diligence, Client Interest Protection, Market Integrity, Professional Ethics and Respect for colleagues.
- Strict compliance with the BNP Paribas Code of Conduct, by displaying an exemplary behavior aligned with the Mission, Values and Rules of Conduct covering all 7 angles: customers’ interests, financial security, market integrity, professional ethics, respect for colleagues, group protection and involvement with society.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Banking, Insurance, or similar financial sector entities Tax functions/departments
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Proficiency in Mexican Tax applicable laws to Banking sector
- Understanding of Mexican GAAP
- Understanding of banking products (Derivatives, FX, Fixed Income and Repos) a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and communication skills, fluent in Spanish and English
- Proficient in working with Microsoft Office tools, i.e., Power Point, Excel, Word

**Minimum required qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Banking, Insurance, or similar financial sector entities Tax functions/departments
