Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams_, which build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _Strategic Supply Chain Manager_ based_ in _Guadalajara, North._
- Reporting to the Sr Director, Supply Chain Management, Strategic Supply Chain Manager role will be responsible as the primary customer-facing role regarding materials and supply chain management for assigned customers and its programs within the Flex Lifestyle Segment. The SSCM will attend to customer and operational issues regarding the flow of material into and out of Flex Lifestyle in support of the Customer’s programs and ensure overall customer satisfaction regarding incoming material and supply chain management._
- What a typical day looks like:

- _ Customer Load to Commit: The objective is to drive to 100% alignment for assigned customers._
- _ Customer RPPV: The objective is to meet and exceed assigned customers' annual retained purchase price variance goals._
- _ Customer On-Hand Inventory and Inventory Turnover: The objective is to rationalize planned on-hand inventory levels for assigned customers to achieve on-time delivery objectives while maximizing Inventory Turnover._
- _ Customer Excess & Obsolete Inventory: The objective is to maintain the mínimal amount of on-hand and on-order excess and obsolete inventory for assigned customers without jeopardizing customer delivery commitments and requirements._
- _ Customer Satisfaction: The objective is to maintain acceptable levels of customer satisfaction for assigned customers as measured by Flex’s customer survey tool._
- The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- _ BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience_
- _ Exceptional program management skills having managed multiple, complex programs simultaneously to order schedule adherence, cost, and inventory._
- _ Solid experience in one or more disciplines of supply chain management and operations. Such disciplines include demand planning, purchasing, materials management, manufacturing, assembly & test, logistics, or other related areas._
- _ Demonstrated understanding of effective supply chain management in a manufacturing environment (preferably in electronics manufacturing)._
- _ Demonstrated success in customer relationship management. This experience can be from a sales or support standpoint but must include experience interacting with external customers on a direct “person to person” basis._
- _ Demonstrated experience in non-confrontational issue resolution with customers (both internal and external)._
- _ Demonstrated leadership skills._
- _ Demonstrated negotiation skills in achieving favorable cost and service provisions._
- _ Demonstrated ability to influence and successfully lead in a fast-paced, matrix-reporting, multi-cultural environment._
- _ Availability to travel internationally as required and be able to work evenings, as required, to support meetings across multiple geographic time zones._
