Field Agronomist Seeds

**Description**:
The Field Agronomist Seeds will be responsible to tech support in terms of hybrids positioning by environmental zone, agronomical practices, and resolve multiple issues by being the technical face of seeds on the field. This person will generate demand for seeds solutions. He/she will report to the Agronomy Leader but will have a very close interaction with CL and Sales Team. Main duties besides demand generation include whatever is needed to position seeds at the costumer, by training, offering technical conferences, facilitating and leading agronomic research, such as population, fertilization and planting date trials.

**Activities**
- This position retains a deep understanding regarding agricultural techniques, products, and technological advancements that improve seeds productivity, methods of creating efficiency and economic benefit for growers and channel partners, all of which are centered on seeds integrated strategies.
- Responsible for managing prescription by hybrids based on competitor value proposition and brand proposition.
- Responsible for initial hybrid training and positioning with sales teams, industrial product characterization, leading programs trials for brand strategy and supporting the Category Leader on value proposition.
- The Field Agronomist will have deep knowledge of all applicable products and technologies and how these can be applied.
- The Field Agronomist position will actively participate in design, communication, and implementation of crop solutions for seeds.
- Crop expertise delivered through this role will be customer centric, utilizing a coordinated approach through internal and external partners. This role is key to identifying, communicating, and stewarding positive, measurable technical attributes of our products and portfolio for seeds market by providing technical guidance, collateral support, and facilitation of new product launches.
- Own the development and delivery of seeds, agronomic and solution in the field, as necessary for maximum demand and value creation.
- Act as technical representative of seeds within the most relevant agronomic forums in the country and in the crops assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree/engineering degree in an agriculture-related field or equivalent experience.
- Full English proficiency.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in AG industry (prefer job-related work experience).
- Significant background and/or education in seeds or related field.
- Strong understanding of seeds and the financial drivers of a grower's business.
- Deep technical knowledge and understanding of the seeds market, its production and critical agronomic and other inputs that enable maximization of yield and return on investment.
- Demonstrates strong communication/persuasive skills.
- Ability to maintain current business and develop new business.
