**Minimum qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or management consulting within the news ecosystem or technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently.
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Experience driving complex discussions in tech and/or regulated industries.
- Experience in sourcing, discussing agreements, and closing strategic partnerships with executive-level relationship management.

The News Partnerships team builds and maintains Google’s relationships with the news and publishing industry in LATAM region. Our partnerships help solve user needs, advance partner goals, and further Google’s mission. Our goals include helping news and publishing organizations grow and transform their businesses, find new audiences, and work with our partners to navigate change together, including an evolving regulatory environment. Within Google our team works across Product Areas and functions to help ensure a coordinated approach to our external collaborations.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and foster key relationships with news partners and/or key opinion formers in the country.
- Partner with global program and Product teams.
- Work closely with cross-functional colleagues in Public Policy, Marketing, Communications, and Partnerships to drive and adapt the news strategy.
