Transportation Specialist Il

Arrow Electronics is looking to hire a Transportation Specialist to join our team in Guadalajara

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Responsible for carrier cost analysis
- Monitor and report carrier performance, hold periodic reviews with carriers and take corrective action as required
- Assist carriers and distribution centers in resolving issues regarding loading, unloading, appointments and daily pick execution
- Administer freight Claims
- Support Transportation mailbox
- Prepare reports and other presentation materials as required by department leadership

**What We're Looking For**:

- Typically requires a 4 year degree and 1-2 years of experience or a 2 year degree and equivalent related experience
- Bilingual - ability to communicate fluently in English (speaking, writing and reading)
- Advanced specialized skills or is multi-skilled through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
- Works independently; receives mínimal guidance
- Organization and planning capacity
- In-depth knowledge of import and export processes
- In-depth knowledge of customs law and operations
- Leadership
- Continuous improvement orientation
- Communication / Negotiation Skills
