**Responsibilities**:

- Modeling data on a high changing environment..
- Write effective APIs for seamless integration with front-end and other services.
- Test software components to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
- Implement security and data protection settings in coordination with compliance teams.
- Contribute to preparing technical documentation.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Work with the team lead, product owner, and project manager to break down high-level goals into tasks and timelines.
- Advocate for advancing software development best practices within the team.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Proficient knowledge of backend programming using JS, Node, Next.js or Express.js
- Strong experience with databases such as MongoDB or SQL (PostgreSQL)
- Understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of REST/JSON interfaces and HTTP technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment (Scrum or Kanban).

**Nice to have**:

- Set up swagger from scratch
- GraphQL
- Typescript
- DevOps understanding (Docker, AWS or GCP)
- Software architecture design ( CDN, API Gateways, Message brokers, etc )
- Set cron jobs on server less functions
- Experience with frontend ( Next.js )
- The existing backend is made with Next.js on a monorepo with FE

Pay: $20,000.00 - $35,000.00 per month
