Business Area: Production- Employment type: Full-time**Ambu Mexico Operations is looking for an Engineering Technician**:
Do you want to participate with your energy, knowledge, experience as a professional Engineering Technician? Do you have experience in manufacturing of medical devices, new product transfers? As part of the Juarez Operation Plant and as a key member team, you will support new lines of product transfers developing and introducing adapted processes of our medical devices to our people in Juarez. Working from brand new site, you will join a team with experienced colleagues in Mexico and will be able to participate in Projects with our sister plants in USA and Asia, you will report to the Engineering Manager and support the Operations team.

**Objective**:
To provide engineering support for translate, testing, production-pilot, transfer, installation, validation, start up, stabilization and documentation of new products and equipment integration into manufacturing.

**Responsibilities and Essential Functions**:

- Assist MFG Engineer in developing new product validation program and assure compliance to reduce the launch time.
- Perform walkthroughs, inspections, product evaluation and testing as needed.
- Conduct Engineering test evaluations such are: GR&R, SVs, Test Method, Criticality.
- Ability to understand and utilize assembly documentation such as but not limited to the following: Schematics, BOM’s, Visuals, Debug, Testing tools and procedures.
- Provide clear direction and training for production associates.
- Advise on scheduling and staffing needs.
- Provides guidance, training, and leadership to new technicians or clerks.
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures

Responsible for understanding all applicable procedures and product requirements.

All other duties as assigned.

**In order for you to succeed in this position these are the Qualifications desired**:

- Knowledge of NPI Process/Development (preferred)
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general new product/manufacturing/quality procedures or medical regulations.
- Ability to write Completion Reports or Engineering Studies, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to interpret and manipulate various types of testing and CAD data.
- Ability to write test and interpret CAD data.

**Education**:

- An Associates of Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 years of experience or equivalent knowledge and skills to perform the position responsibilities
- Experience in the medical device industry or medical field
- Experience in GR&R, SVs, Eng. Studies, Protocols (preferred)
- English language medium to advance
