About the Group

The SKAI (SKAEL AI) group is in charge of developing and enhancing advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and data mining, to advance SKAEL’s business and products. The group works on programs in multiple areas such as conversational AI, data wrangling, image processing, behavioral analytics, predictive analytics, business enablement, telemetrics and benchmark analytics. By leveraging advanced technologies and sophisticated algorithms, SKAI’s solutions empower SKAEL’s intelligent digital employees. SKAI comprises data scientists, AI architects, ML engineers and data engineers, and reports to the company’s Chief AI Officer.

Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Project Manager at SKAEL, you will have a chance to work with engineers and data scientists who conduct research and develop cutting-edge technologies that improve the way human employees interact with digital employees.

Your main objective will be to establish and instill program lifecycle methodologies to agilize the way our engineers and data scientists work. You will establish standards for project initiation, planning and execution to enable smooth delivery within scope, cost and schedule. You will be responsible for creating regular status reports and maintaining dashboards to provide visibility for stakeholders.

As part of your role, you may need to:
Processes
- Develop lean methodologies for project lifecycle management, and drive adoption through training and collaboration
- Maintain organizational standards of visibility, assessment, and quality
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project lifecycle
- Establish and maintain lean processes for documentation and deliverables necessary for successful execution of programs

Planning & Scoping
- Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
- Work with Product Management, Engineering and AI to define project scope and objectives
- Develop and manage a detailed project plans, including interdependencies and risk
- Assess resources needed to reach objectives, and monitor progress to enable effective and efficient resource utilization
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

Monitoring
- Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are met
- Maintain risk management plans and their respective mitigation strategies
- Monitor progress and make adjustments, initiating corrective action as necessary

Communication
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Create and maintain dashboards that reflect the status of projects, their risks, level of confidence, planned/actual schedules and buffer consumption

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- 3 years of project/program management for SaaS
- 3 years working with Agile methodologies and managing scrums
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification required
- Proven track record establishing standards from scratch and leading adoption
- Experience managing software projects through their full lifecycle
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Experience with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
- Passionate about the incorporation of new methodologies and about training others to follow them
- Scrum Master certification is a big plus
- Fluent in English
