INNOVASPORT/INNVICTUS MERCHANDISING MANAGER

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for the new Merchandising Manager with a focus in our Strategic accounts Innovasport and Innvictus. This role will be responsible for creating, leading and executing our the product vision and strategic plan for our strategic accounts Innovasport and Innvictus. This person will also be a key stakeholder for the México Merchandising Team to create and lead thru a Territory Merchandising Strategy ensuring an E2E to end mindset. The Innovasport/Innvictus Merchandising Manager have the opportunity to partner cross-functionally to lead and execute the product plan for each of the Accounts and land that vision to serve our consumers from adoption to sell-in.

This position requires leadership, communication, influencing skills that will allow to involve cross functional partners to develop and execute product plans. Being innovative, embracing the change, understanding consumer and marketplace behavior is fundamental In order to create the marketplace of the future as an important part of Merchandising. Product and consumer understanding, consumer trend knowledge will be key for a successful development of the role. Analytical skills will support and balance the art and the science within this role

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Support by create and become ambassador of product México Merchandising Strategy.
- Develop InnovaSport and Innvictus product/merchandising strategic plan.
- Create productive and profitable product lines for territory/account.
- Through close collaboration with GEO Marketplace Merch, drive Strategic Partners assortment priorities and marketplace intent aligned to APLA consumer and FoP strategy
- Highly effective and engaged member of the MPU cross-functional team to support seasonal planning and in-season trading
- Participate in regular business teardowns (inclusive of seasonal hind sights and mid sights) to stay informed on the business and translate insights to in-season and future season actions
- Carefully Balance the Art and Science to Build Strategic Partner seasonal assortments to serve the local consumer
- Stay on top of consumer and marketplace trends related to consumer through the lens of respective MPU to provide marketplace intelligence back to APLA Marketplace Merch
- Approach with a season less mindset to move at the pace of the consumer, balancing newness and consistency
- Drive portfolio health and balance through support of CSR strategy and in-depth knowledge of local business needs
- Integrate and align with NDDC Merchandising team to ensure moment of truth experience and visual reflection of the strategy

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You will be an important teammate for the Territory Merchandising team working initially and mostly with the México Merchandising team extending your communication and interaction with the APLA Merchandising Team both Consumer& Marketplace Merchandising. Also you will need to manage a function team Mindset by connecting with key stakeholders, you will work closely with your MPU Squads. The MPU lead will become a sponsor of your strategy and will be important to ensure the connection between your product strategy and the account´s also partnering with DSM become critical to ensure your plan lands on a proper way.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
- Bachelor's degree in Business, International Business, Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in Product and Merchandising, Product Planning.
- Experience managing and driving the development of a team of experts in product and Merchandising
- Strong strategic thinking vision considering the responsibility of creating strategic plans for both the Merchandising and account vision.
