Trimble Cybersecurity is seeking a Data Loss Prevention/Insider Threat Analyst to augment the Insider Threat Program. The DLP/Insider Threat Analyst will report to the Director of Governance, Risk and Compliance and interface with Legal, Human Resources, Cybersecurity, and Information Systems team(s) to triage and escalate potential cybersecurity events associated with data loss activity as well as to help coordinate technical management and administration of the tooling including endpoint deployments, policy configuration enhancements, monitoring and tracking issues to remediation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with the creation, maintenance and enhancement of Data Loss Prevention policies, rules, and configurations.
- Coordinate endpoint agent deployments and updates.
- Engage with several departments to assist with communication, training, and onboarding for Data Loss Prevention policies and tools.
- Understand the role of the Cybersecurity SOC, the Corporate Information Systems helpdesk and follow protocol regarding case escalation as appropriate.
- Insider threat cases can be extremely sensitive so understanding confidentiality and behaving with professional discretion is paramount to the success of the role.

Skills/Experience:

- Bachelor's Degree in a related Cybersecurity field preferred
- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 2 years of experience in a relevant field as well as a certification such as Security+ or GSEC may be acceptable.
- Understanding of Data Loss standards, guidelines, and practices
- Ability and motivation to document technical processes
- Previous experience with a Data Loss Prevention tool. Demonstrable proficiency with administration and management is important
- Previous experience with a SIEM tool such as Splunk or similar
- Previous experience with a ticketing system such as Atlassian’s Jira or similar
