Tooling Supervisor

DuPont has an opening position of Tooling Supervisor based in Reynosa, MX. The Tooling Supervisor is responsible for, but not limited to, supervising new project tooling technical discuss with supplier and all tooling in house maintenance and machine workshop, all equipment in factory maintenance.
**Main activities may include**:
- Leader for new project tooling plan, including selecting vendor, tooling RFQ and cost down; tooling design review and tooling vendor performance evaluation.
- Support Purchasing dept. to plastics components plan from tooling viewpoint.
- Charging all tooling maintenance in house and in supplier and tooling spare parts as well.
- Organizing and planning tool room euipments maintenance and spare parts management incuding tools.
- Based on the request from the other department, manage machine workshop to support new project and mass production.
- Be responsible for safety of Tool room department.
- Manage the corresponding employee and monitor their routine jobs
- Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical design and manufacture or related field or equivalent experience, Tool and Die Technology is plus.
- Relevant experience with tooling, dies, molds and related tool room equipment and the corresponding molding and crimping equipments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Advanced English skills
- Experience with progressive dies and deep draw form tools in different metal alloys
- Develop preventive and corrective maintenance process on progressive tools
- Good knowledge of stamping presses basics (from 20 to 200T press preference)
- Troubleshooting in progressive tool at press (Dimensional Issues)
- Blueprint interpretation (GD&T knowledge)
- Autocad and SolidWork good skills.
- WEDM / CNC knowledge is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Good problem solving, decision-making, time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
