Your role at Clorox:
At Clorox, we are seeking a Workday Functional Configurator to join our team. This role will report to our Product Owner, Manage & Develop who oversees the strategic vision for Workday’s Talent & Performance, Learning, and Sophisticated Compensation modules. As a Workday Configurator, you will play a meaningful role in the execution of functional configuration, testing, documentation, and auditing related to the modules. This role is part of a cross-functional product team tasked with understanding business needs and translating those needs into the technical capabilities needed to deliver the best user experience for our stakeholders. Your expertise directly contributes to the success of our projects and helps us improve efficiencies and drive innovation.

In this role, you will:

- Thoroughly test configurations through unit testing and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) across teams
- Consistently looks for ways to optimize and improve existing business processes and functional configurations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, resolve complex system problems, and develop and manage complex workflow rules, data validations, and object customizations
- Monitor new features being released by Workday and advocate for appropriate adoption plans
- Provide Level 2 & 3 support for production issues and questions

What we look for:
Experience
- 3 - 5 years of experience with HCM systems, preferably 3 years of experience within Workday; previous implementation experience is a plus
- Demonstrated experience in agile planning methodologies, interfacing with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and Engineering teams to drive product improvements
- Experience having effective conversations with stakeholders regarding support needs, and requirements, managing intake processes, asking the right questions to scope and solve the requests
- Comfortability with having a consultative mindset to engage stakeholders regarding the possibilities of the system's capabilities and positive change
