Controllership Internship

This role has been designated as ‘Office’, which means you will primarily work from an HPE office.

**Job Description**:
The Finance team at HPE provides world class decision support driving profitable growth and exceptional shareholder value through our commitment to operational excellence, people development, and innovation. In the Finance division, our reporting and controlling teams are working on tasks like asset management, financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, as well as USGAAP-reporting. Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.

**In a typical day as a Controllership Financial Analyst Internship, you would**:
Perform account reconciliations for prepaids and accrued liabilities accounts; doing escalatable follow up and providing account variance explanations for BSR (Balance Sheet Review). Complex Account Reconciliations as well as Month End Close process and follow up on reconciling items. Also Works on financial reporting for US and local GAAP purposes.
- Provide complex, financial analysis for a financial function or a business.
- Establish and maintain relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making.
- Provide analytics to business initiatives, typically representing a sub-function within finance for a particular business.
- Support policy and process improvement and identifies opportunities.
- Identify issues and proposes solutions.
- Represent finance on cross
- functional teams.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to analysts.

**_ About you:_**
- ** Deep knowledge and understanding of financial statements**:

- First level university degree with a focus in accounting and finance **Mandatory**:

- Solid experience as a financial analyst.
- Analytical skills.
- Excellent Communication and influencing skills.
- Advanced English
- Advanced Excel **mandatory **( create data Base) Macros **nice to have**

- Still studying - Pursuing Degree in accounting and finance
- Communicative, a team player and able to solve problems with analytical thinking
- Experienced in MS Office and initial experienced in project work (university and non-university wise)
- Very good in verbal and written communication
