TT Raw Material Buyer - México to join our growing Procurement team with Titanium Technologies This position will report directly to the LA Procurement manager,

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies for essential raw materials to maximize Altamira business performance.
- Work with Chemours Supply Chain and Operations to understand and analyze business plans and requirements and the role Procurement plays in its competitive position.
- Negotiate, prepare and execute procurement agreements by:

- Understanding client requirements such as volume, price, quality, delivery mode, supply risk and supply chain impacts
- Understanding supply market - production routes, supplier share, market price, alternatives
- Running requests for proposals and competitive bids
- Defining negotiation targets: most desired outcome, best alternative, least acceptable outcome
- Conducting negotiations, documenting agreements in contract terms and conditions, conducting contract legal and financial reviews, obtaining internal approvals, implementing contracts, reviewing contract/supplier performance after implementation
- Develop and drive improvement projects to meet and exceed objectives in year-over-year and one-time savings, cost avoidances, and working capital savings.
- Be the co-lead, along with site operations, for the Titanium Dioxide Variable Cost Leadership team (VCLT) for the Altamira Site
- Engage with the other TT site VCLT procurement leads to leverage learning and cost improvement opportunities.
- Manage supplier performance in accordance with contracts.
- Work closely with Chemours plant sites to resolve supply issues, implement procurement strategies, manage inventory, etc.
- Make sure our buying strategy is aligned with Global Procurement
- Leading investigations related with suppliers low performance (SCARS)
- Follow and solve Source To Pay issues related with Payment through our iPay platforms and working with AP teams.

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

- College degree (engineering bachelor prefered) and procurement experience.
- Fluent on english, written/spoken
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
- Negotiation Skills
