Overview:
As a member of the consulting team, the Business Analyst works with customers on assigned projects to identify solutions to functional and minor technical problems.

**Where you will make an impact**
- Planning, analysis, coordination and support of our Ellucian Banner ERP system and all components of the Unified Digital Campus (UDC) such as: Banner Document Management, DegreeWorks, Workflow, Automic/UC4
- Provide creative technical input to help develop technical solutions to customer problems including but not limited to the design of user interfaces and development of SQL queries
- Executing and completing assigned projects within the time and scope negotiated with the customer
- Evaluating existing business processes and procedures, making recommendations for improvement
- Implementing systems and proof of concepts that best fit the customer's needs
- Ensuring customer satisfaction until the project is complete
- Participating in multiple projects simultaneously and being able to adapt
- Improving and maintaining technical documentation along with processes and procedures
- Engaging in continuous learning and adoption of new concepts, technologies and problem-solving techniques
- Provide quality end-user consultation and support Ellucian’s Banner product suite
- Write documentation that describes installation and operating procedures
- Interact with the customer and other consultants to translate business requirements into functional specifications for conversions, reporting, interfaces, and customizations
- Provides guidance in the development of user-training strategy, and when appropriate, delivers such training
- Evaluate and modify systems, where appropriate, relative to the customer business practices
- Provide customer high-quality business process, change management and other appropriate documentation
- Assists clients in troubleshooting issues within the Ellucian Banner product suite
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and self-starter attitude
- Other duties as assigned

**What you will bring**
- Experience with Customer service and mitigating escalations
- Experience with Oracle database developer including SQL, PL/SQL, database functions and procedures
- Proven ability to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, vendors, and customers
- Self-starter attitude
- Experience using Oracle SQL development environment such as TOAD or SQL Developer.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- ITIL Knowledge (Incident, Change and Problem Management)
- A desire to resolve problems and not just incidents or events. Possess the tenacity to delve to the root of the problem quickly, understand why it happened, and prevent it in the future
- Proven problem solving and analytical competencies.
- Works well with cross-functional global and remote teams
- Demonstrate the ability to learn new technologies, methods, and tools quickly to meet our business requirements
- Proven ability to collaborate with team members to achieve successful customer outcomes
- Strong presentation, verbal and written skills, excellent customer service, as well as high attention to detail
- Must be Fluent in English
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent experience
