**Mexico Office Skip-tracing specialist**

Full-time -Non-Exempt - reports to the Contact Center Collections Manager.

**Summary**:Manages the skip-tracing efforts in console’s workloads for any of clients in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities: Searching and locating contact information for customers and borrowers and calling out to confirm telephones, deceased status or any other relevant data.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Review daily skip tracing workloads to search for new contact information.
- Notate in detail each account with the skip-tracing efforts completed on the accounts.
- Update customer’s accounts in Interlink-when confirming new contact information.
- Run bad address and no phones reports in Interlink to make skip tracing efforts.
- Make outbound calls to leave messages, contact borrowers, collect on past due accounts, etc.
- Use all the authorized sources of contact information to maintain our database.
- Follow skip-tracing Concord’s policy and make suggestions to improve procedures.
- Complete skip tracing efforts submitted by the support team due a client’s request and provide outcome.
- Provide tracking reports with a summary of the skip-tracing efforts on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Provide feedback to Supervisors and trainers based on the trends showed on the skip-tracing tiers in consoles.
- Able to react to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned.
- Assist in training and orientation to all new team members.
- Complete Compliance quizzes as necessary.
- Communicate all relevant changes, updates to Supervisors, Team Leaders and Management team members.
- Make the necessary recommendations to enforce, review and evaluate current policies and procedures.

**In addition to the previous, the Skip tracing specialist will perform**:

- Follow the Skip tracing policy defined by the Contact Center Leadership.
- Make recommendations to the Training and Supervision Staff based on the trends showed on the weekly and monthly reports.

**Requirements**:

- Prior collections experience (6 months)
- Knowledge of FDCPA and State rules and regulations
- Prior Supervisory / Management experience - preferred
- Basic knowledge of Energy Efficiency operations - preferred
- Business degree or equivalent - preferred
- Basic Computer Skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Leadership experience and the ability to provide support and direction to develop and motivate a team
- Ability to communicate and meet company goals and objectives
- Must be willing to work in excess of 48 hours per week when business conditions or special projects make such scheduling necessary.
- Must willing and able to travel as required by clients/projects
