**Heat Sealing**
- Our client designs, manufactures and distributes engineered protective têxtiles, survivability and safety solutions for the Aerospace, Defence and Public Security industries. Headquartered in Hawkesbury, Ontario, it operates a modern 60,000 square foot facility with equipment ranging from computerized cutting tables, stitching machines R.F. (radio frequency) welding and heat sealing equipment to highly sophisticated testing and certification equipment including cold temperature test chambers, inertia reel testing equipment and computerized measurement and test equipment for quality inspection. We are currently looking for a Heat Sealer Operator to join a dynamic & close-knit team Reporting to the Production team lead, the Heat-Sealing Operator is responsible for following work instructions and process procedures to seal various cut shaped panels together to make either the final product or a sub-assembly of a final product.
- Duties & responsibilities: - Lifts and prepares cut panels of fabric for sealing - Operates the sealing equipment and inputs the correct parameters to start and maintain the operation of the machine as per the process procedures. - Ensures material is correct as per shop order - Ensures that products are processed as per specifications - May mark fabric using marking patterns - Records data on shop packets and other documents as required - Performs calculations and conversions using metric and imperial measurement systems - Performs basic preventive maintenance. - Performs housekeeping duties What you need to succeed:

- High school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years’ experience operating an industrial cutting machine and heat sealing machine. - Knowledge of measurement systems both metric and imperial - Ability to understand machine operating instructions - Ability to be precise and pay attention to detail - Ability to read, comprehend and follow, drawing, shop packet, routing, cutting schedules, work instructions, PCS, MSDS and other manufacturing documentation - Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment - Capable of working in a team environment
- Valid Police Records Check paid by the company - Flexible and willing to accept new challenges and problem solve

Ability to commute/relocate:
