**Position Overview**:
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for leading the quality control inspection team and ensuring the adherence to quality standards and specifications within the manufacturing facility in Mexico. This role involves managing inspection processes, implementing quality control measures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Team Leadership and Development**:
- Lead and manage a team of quality control inspectors, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure high-quality inspection outcomes.
- Set clear performance expectations, provide training and development opportunities, and conduct performance evaluations for inspection team members.
- **Inspection Process Management**:
- Develop and implement inspection processes, procedures, and standards to ensure product quality meets customer requirements and specifications.
- **Quality Control Measures**:
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Implement corrective actions and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address non-conformances and quality issues identified during inspections.
- **Continuous Improvement Initiatives**:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes, increase efficiency, and improve overall product quality.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer specifications related to product quality and safety.
- **Communication and Collaboration**:
- Communicate inspection results, quality issues, and corrective actions to relevant customers, or stakeholders, including production, engineering, and quality assurance teams.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance Management role.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, methodologies, and tools, such as IATF16949, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and 8D.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software systems.
- **Proficiency in Spanish and English languages (written and verbal)
