**JOB PURPOSE**:As a member of the Region leadership team, he/she will lead the development and execution of strategic projects internally and with business partners. Additionally, he/she will act as a chief of staff for the Region Vice President.

**JOB DUTIES**: This is a highly strategic role that relies on project management, effective networking, and exceptional interpersonal skills, as there is significant interdependency across Caterpillar. The Strategy Manager is diligently focused on delivery and execution, relying on their strategic perspective to assure the most relevant outcome and impact.

**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING**:
Leading development and execution of strategic projects to improve Services Growth results

Managing metrics, dashboards and supporting management tools in place to monitor department performance

Leveraging Lean methodology to identify and implement improvement opportunities

Coordinating and developing annual business plan and department expense budgets and results

Prioritizing critical issues and required information to facilitate efficient decision making

Providing guidance to VP and direct reports, organizing and facilitating meetings, ensuring clear action items and timely follow-up

Leading Global OPEX within Region and business partners, including Cat Digital

Leading Services Commitment execution for Americas

Providing coordination to DAGs and Councils that are managed by ADSD

Ensures clear communication of objectives, expectations and manages accountability, assigning duties accordingly.

Responsible for driving internal and external communication that supports and accelerates impact of the department.

**Basic Qualifications**:
College degree in Business or related field with ten years of progressive job-related experience.

Previous strategy development, project management and 6 Sigma/Lean experience.

Must have proven decision-making capabilities and significant knowledge of Caterpillar organization.

English Advanced

**Desired Qualifications**:
Experience in the field or working directly with dealers.

Portuguese Basic
