STATEMENT:
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

- Works with the analysts to develop methods for analyzing data to better inform safety-related stakeholders
- Supports the advisory statement review committee, as lead for GCS Analytics and additionally providing process oversight
- Builds and strengthens relationships with corporate partners, including safety-related stakeholders within the company (e.g., R&D, GA, etc.), and regional partners for safety-related research projects
- Responsible for liasing with cross-functional teams as the GCS lead providing the consumer safety perspective
- Able to think strategically about how information can be best utilized
- Conducts Medical Reviews as needed to meet regulatory and time-sensitive deadlines
- Using statistical tools and methods, including but not limited to design of experiments (DOE) and statistical modeling, informs all levels of business and safety stakeholders on challenges and opportunities that translate into impacts on profitability and safety science practices
- Interprets system implementations and overall integration topologies to identify both gaps and opportunities which have safety, regulatory and profitability impacts

Job Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong Excel skills and ability to create slides/tables/charts that convey key research findings in compelling ways
- Skilled in identifying and utilizing external data sources
- A problem solver who is always asking questions and looks to uncover the underlying drivers behind behavior
- A team player who works well with stakeholders across a variety of functions
- Fundamental understanding of statistical analysis preferred, experience with programming a plus
- Able to manage multiple projects, ideally with high levels of data and detail
- Exceptional written, oral, and presentation communication abilities
- Personal accountability and strong work ethic

**Experience**:

- 4-6 years relevant work experience in an analytical or scientific (including medical) role
- 4 years demonstrated experience in a research, medical/clinical, or industry setting
- Relevant experience includes pharmacovigilance, clinical/analytical research (safety), pre
- or post-market adverse event management, pre
- or post-market adverse event data analyses, biostatistics (health/medical), and/or other relevant regulated industry experience
- Experience in creating reports, compiling information, and presenting data cross-functionally

**Education**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in science, nutrition, health, and/or relevant analytics-related field
- Medical doctorate or advanced degree in medical discipline with relevant biotech experience/expertise

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Dietary supplement industry experience preferred
- Experience in analytical position involving post-market safety surveillance within the dietary supplement industry
- General knowledge of US cGMP and AE reporting regulations for dietary supplements

Graduate degree in any of these areas listed above or a related field
