Sr. Buyer

**General Description**:

- This position works for Raw Material purchasing and indirectly with RNPO Line-side teams and Material Engineering for raw material purchasing management and follow up for all items related to Raw Material purchasing procurement (Steel Mills, Service Centers, Steel trades, lineside suppliers, Raw Material Economics forecasting, and management, projects, current programs and Sourcing).
- This position also works with Plant (In House) in the identification and implementation of plant needs (Purchasing, delivery, quality, logistics, and other supply chain needs)
- Work with Material Design Engineering and Part Design members to validate steel grades, work on steel localization, Value Analysis and other design related changes.
- Work with Engineering to ensure tracking and Implementation of Technical ideas.
- Raw Material Purchasing KPI's closure and follow up.
- Capable to manage, motivate and guide team members.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Strong negotiation with Supplier. Fully understanding on NMEX Purchasing Procedures.**

**Education/Certifications**:

- Education: Bachelor's or Master in Engineering or Business.

**Previous Work Experience**
- Experience in the Automotive Industry.
- Purchasing oriented

**Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Language: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Fully bilingual.
- Flexible working time
- Computer Skills: SAP/ Outlook/ Excel( Windows)
- Certifications: Not necessary, But Basic knowledge of mfg processes involved in car parts (Stamping parts, Plastic Injection parts, etc)

- Assists others with cost walks, analysis & gap explanation and takes leadership role in representing commodity team in all sourcing/budget discussion sand issue resolution.
