**Position Overview**

We are looking for a **Product Owner** for our software client to join our amazing team in Guadalajara. As a **Product Owner**, you will work collaboratively to manage cross-functional teams in the delivery of software features and services for a Digital Marketing SaaS platform.

**What awaits you in this role**:

- Work closely with Product Managers to translate roadmap to initiatives, epics, and stories delivered through sprints and releases
- Take requirements (functional and non-functional) and break them down into actionable user stories, clearly define acceptance criteria and dependencies. Ensures user stories are ready for development to start work
- Work closely with engineering and QA to validate that the work item meets acceptance criteria
- Participate in scrum events to ensure that development work is aligned with the roadmap set by the product manager
- Maintain 3+ Sprints of refined, prioritized, pointed backlog for each assigned team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and stakeholders in release planning
- Set Sprint Goals for the Scrum Team and track progress toward the release of features
- Manage, communicate, and prioritize bugs and production support requests. Meet SLOs without jeopardizing feature commitments (allowing tradeoffs)
- Maintain a positive outlook to keep the development team motivated
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with engineers and business leaders

**What we are looking for**:

- Command of English at a B2 level
- 3 years of experience in a Product Owner role for a commercial software product in a SaaS environment
- Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and common product/project management tools
- Demonstrated understanding of software architecture concepts as it relates to SaaS platforms.
- Previous experience with the retail / ecommerce vertical, experience with digital marketing, and/or software development experience is a plus
