Finance Manager, Mexico

We’re looking for a head of finances to join our team in Mexico City
The position will be 40% remote and 60% onsite once you finish the 100% onsite training (2 months)
As Finance Manager you will be working alongside the General Director to oversee all accounting and finance operations, we’re looking for someone who is not afraid to improve processes and guide the team to best accounting and financial practices. You will be working directly with the San Francisco office.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee all accounting, control, compliance, and payroll operations
- Responsible for the month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing
- Oversee monthly financial reporting, client profitability analysis, KPI & dashboard follow-up, budget creation, and review
- Financial planning & analysis
- Recruit, train, and supervise team members
- Take initiatives to evolve the department as per company needs
- Lead the design and implementation of the company’s financial policies, including accounting/finance processes based on best practices
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or a related field
- At least 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance field
- 1-2 years of experience supervising or leading a team.
- Very efficient with software for data analysis and reporting
- Hands-on approach with a strong drive for improvement
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Excellent English & Spanish skills
**Nice to have**:
- Big 4 audit experience preferred
- Experience implementing accounting software
- French proficiency
- Experience managing a finance/accounting department
