ABOUT WHIRLPOOL CORPORATION

**The team you will be a part of**:
**Documentation and submission of Codes Safety & Regulatory traceable documentation realized by predictable codes, regulatory and internal policy compliance as well as 3rd party agency certifications, where appropriate, at launch and throughout the product life cycle to delight consumers and satisfy the needs of the business.**

**This role in summary**:
**The product scope is cooking appliances for the Mexican market.**

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- ** Define Codes requirements and help V&V Eng to create Test plans aligned with the platform team, executable according to WPD project timelines.**
- ** Continuous improvement activities for future projects**
- ** Translation of codes or regulatory changes into product attribute impact.**
- ** Interpretation of standards and regulations.**
- ** Develop methods to close CSR knowledge gaps.**
- ** 3rd party listing / certification, project CSR approval.**
- ** Safety review/audit closure**
- ** Initial certification and Re-certification of gas cooking appliances and Microwave ovens.**

**Minimum requirements**:

- ** Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline**
- ** 3+ years of product development experience**
- ** Knowledge of Cooking appliances Mexican Standards or appliance certification processes.**
- ** Leadership and influence skills**
- ** Project management skills**
- ** Problem-solving skills**
- ** Good soft skills**
- ** Advanced English Level**

**Preferred skills and experiences**:

- ** Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.**
- ** Ability to analyze mechanical and electrical systems**
- ** Demonstrated project management and computer skills**
- ** Green Belt/Operational Excellence Six Sigma experience**
