El Centro Internacional de Mejoramiento de Maíz y Trigo, conocido por sus siglas en español, CIMMYT®, es una organización internacional de investigación y desarrollo agrícola sin fines de lucro, enfocada al fortalecimiento de sistemas de producción de maíz y trigo en países en desarrollo.

CIMMYT está buscando un(a) profesionista dinámico(a), innovador(a), proactivo(a) y con iniciativa para la consultoría de Knowledge Assets and Services para la catalogación de material físico y/o digital, clasificación de libros, entre otras actividades requeridas en el área.

La persona seleccionada trabajará en las oficinas centrales de CIMMYT, ubicadas en Texcoco, Estado de México, a 45 minutos de la Ciudad de México.

**Esta consultoría es temporal.**

**Principales responsabilidades**:

- Catalogación de material científico relacionado con maíz y trigo.
- Colocación de encabezamientos relacionados con agricultura.
- Clasificación de documentos de acuerdo sistema de Clasificación Internacional Dewey.
- Etiquetado y clasificación de documentos según las colecciones de la institución.
- Creación de registros bibliográficos, de acuerdo con las políticas institucionales.
- Creación de registros de autoridad personal, corporativo y geográfico.
- Orientación de usuarios con el uso de los sistemas de gestión documental.
- Realización de altas en los sistemas de los usuarios para préstamos bibliotecarios.
- Estandarización de autores de acuerdo con las políticas internacionales e institucionales.
- Realizar el control de préstamo de materiales de la colección general.
- Estandarizar el contenido de los registros Marc21 en sistema de gestión Koha.
- Apoyar a los usuarios en localización de material bibliográfico en estantería.
- Llevar inventario de documentos digitalizados.
- Clasificar materiales para procesos de catalogación.
- Apoyar en actividades adicionales relacionadas que le asignen los supervisores.

- Al menos 1 año de experiência en un puesto similar.
- Contar con conocimientos del idioma inglés representará una ventaja.
- La persona selecionada deberá mostrar las siguientes competencias: Pensamiento crítico, Comunicación, Trabajo en equipo, Orientación al cliente, Solución de problemas y toma de decisiones.
