**Role Overview**:
Subsea 7 has an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor within the Human Resources Team based in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.

As **HR Advisor** you will work within the GOM HR department and oversee the human resources administrative procedures related to hiring, payment, benefits, and employee lifecycle and have an up-to-date knowledge of policies such as workplace safety, employee rights and employment practices in Mexico. Under the supervision of the HR manager, role responsibilities include:
**PROFILE**:

- Degree qualified or equivalent in Human Resources or related field
- 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role with autonomy
- Strong knowledge of Mexico’s labor law
- Proactive and good problem-solving skills
- Proactive and creative problem solving - able to suggest and develop new methods and ways of working
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (reports or meetings), able to communicate ideas and results to various stakeholders
- The ability to work in a team as well as individually with a minimum of supervision
- The ability to organize and prioritize own work and as such have responsibility for discrete work packages ongoing simultaneously
- Good level of English, both written and oral
- High level of confidentiality

**GENERIC KEY ACTIVITIES**:

- Manages all recruitment activities for the region (i.e., vacancy postings, interviewing, background and drug screening).
- Conducts new hire onboarding.
- Runs monthly headcount reports and salary assessments as requested
- Supports all regional employee relations.
- Entry of all new hires/leavers into the SAP ERP database
- Provides Human Resource business partnering and expertise within the designated business area
- Ensures accuracy and compliance of all HR data (manual and electronic)
- Participates in Territory and Global HR initiatives as and when required
- Ensures performance reviews and talent assessments are being completed regularly and with appropriate feedback from line managers
- May have budgetary responsibility and responsibility for procuring HR Services
- In addition to above, may have Specialist Responsibility for an area of HR Expertise and/or have day to day responsibility for more junior team members

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Majority of the work is carried out Subsea7 Merida Office
- Good platform for learning about business and grow within the HR department
- Global travel may occasionally be required.
