SSR I Surgical Sales Representative

Location: Mexico City

The person in this position is responsible to promoting and selling the organization's products across multiple sales channels including selling directly to end-consumer or organizations; selling to resellers, distributers, or retail outlets; and promoting through medical representatives to physicians, etc.

How You Will Make a Difference
- Key Responsibilities_
- The Surgical Sales Representative is responsible for selling and promoting a specific line of surgical products (i.e., Instruments, ATIOLs, etc.).
- Consult and educate surgeons on new surgical techniques and technologies in the operating room.
- Achieve sales budget and visit goals. Develop long term relationships in the ophthalmology discipline.
- Maintain quality, accuracy, and credibility when executing all business plans, analytics, insights, recommendation and presentations, strategic plans, budgets, forecasts, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Innovation and effectiveness of systems, tools, and processes.
- Deliver team performance contracts and individual performance plans to meet or exceed sales target within agreed upon budgets.
- Gain brand knowledge to help promote products in all relevant accounts.
- Prepare and implement account development and territory business plans.
- Improve sales and marketing knowledge of our products and competitor’s products alike.
- Keep abreast of latest health provisions.
- Update and maintain sales tracking systems to maximize accuracy and effectiveness within the territory assigned.
- Results oriented, driven.
- Other duties as assigned.

Skills For Success
- Key Requirements/Minimum Requirements_
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Science, Optometry or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of experience in sales focus in surgical and ophthalmology.
- General Shift: 8am to 5pm with flexible hours.
- Shall have experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Excel: Intermediate excel skills (Formulas).
- English: Able to understand and to have a conversation is required.
- Good to have:_
- Intraocular lens calculation.
- Knowledge of phacoemulsification surgery platform.
