**Duties**:

- You will expertly evaluate and integrates all-source intelligence information to produce/contribute to tailored intelligence products in response to customer requirements.
- You will maintain liaison with personnel in other intelligence agencies, laboratories, services, and partner nation governments to discuss production requirements and provide information.
- You will identify intelligence gaps, specify collection requirements to fill gaps, and develops analytical tools and methodologies to cope with the gaps.

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Position identified as required to provide foreign language support in performance of officially assigned intelligence related duties. Spanish language desired at proficiency level 2 for reading and listening.

**Qualifications**:

- Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as:

- 1) Collecting, analyzing and interpreting complex data from multiple sources to assess the significance, patterns, tactics, and trends directly related to narcotics, illicit trafficking,, and drug trafficking organizations
- 2) Providing tailored maritime intelligence support to non-traditional customers including federal law enforcement, DoD counter drug forces, foreign military, and law enforcement agencies
- 3)Planning, implementing and maintaining databases for intelligence assignments required to process all-source material and the production of technical or operational intelligence in his/her assigned area(s)
- 4) Maintaining liaison with personnel in other intelligence agencies, law enforcement organizations, laboratories, services, and allied foreign governments to discuss production requirements and provide information
- 5) Representing agency or organization positions at interagency and/or international meetings and conferences.-
**Education**:
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.

**Additional information**:
For those applicants located outside of the commuting area, a service agreement may be negotiated in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulation and applicable Department of the Navy policies.

Tour of duty will be 36 months.

Civilian employment in the excepted service in foreign areas shall be limited to a period of five (5) continuous years unless interrupted by at least two (2) years of physical presence in the United States or non-foreign area.

All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
