JOB SUMMARY:
Ingredion is hiring a Labor Relations Chief to lead all functional labor duties at one (or more) manufacturing or supply chain sites around Tlalnepantla operation. As a part of the Local HR Team this role will support the legal labor aspects and bargaining agreement, benefits or others related to the relation between the employer and the employee.

The Labor Relations Chief will be accountable for advisory & guidance to all our managers on leading teams, direct reports, and personnel in general under current legal regulations, company policies or benefits.

This includes HR Processes & Procedures throughout our GBSS.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.

Partners closely with local leadership (Plant Manager, HR Manager, etc.) to provide leadership and expertise with labor matters that may require.

Provides guidance and direction, and supports the development of supervisors, chiefs as well as unit managers by helping them to understand the legal aspects on the bargaining agreement, internal regulation book and many other reference guides to guarantee compliance and business continuity.

If needed, will provide guidance and direction to employees in general (salaried or hourly). Accountable on direct communication and approach with union local representatives to listen associates concerns or possible conflicts to address them onto agile and effective solutions.

Maintains direct approach with employees in general on continuous walk arounds at manufacturing areas, warehouses & services areas like dining rooms, rest rooms, locker rooms among others.

Partners with Global Training Reps to coordinate or negotiate with leaders & union representatives, promotions processes or special training requirements by the law, customers, or standards.

Accountable on generating KPI´s related to the correct labor management like absenteeism, turnover, and many others that could impact on manufacturing reliability and costs.

Partners with PLT to analyze and decision-making regarding to KPI´s Partners with Local HR Rep to guarantee the agile and effective attention to employees concerns or needs.

Accountable for the organization of periodical social events across the year as well as sports or wellness. Partners with EHSS to achieve sustainability objectives.

Manage services that has direct impact on employee’s satisfaction like cleaning services, medical service, restrooms, etc. Guarantees General Labor Regulations Full Compliance. Partners with Labor Attorney´s on Legal Labor procedures like terminations, resignations, individual or collective demands, among others.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Education, HR, OD, Psychology, or similar related discipline.
- Three to five years of progressive experience as Labor Relations Specialist.
- Three years of progressive experience in HR general functions.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing HR indicators and decision making regarding to business acumen for recommending solutions to achieve desired performance outcomes.
- Demonstrated technical competence through Labor matters and legal compliance.
