**Main Responsibilities**:

- Revision of import documents to ensure compliance with Mexican customs rules and regulations.
- Deal with custom brokers and forwarders to follow up on regulations for chemical imports into México, developing KPI´s and following up on performance
- Coordinate imports thru Laredo And Nogales (since Export Document Until obtain POD)
- KPI for importations for the daily management
- Deal with local authorities for special permission for importation of chemicals when required
- Receive imports audits every Q
- Ensure constant update for imports regulations for chemicals
- Administration of all import documentation to be shared with cost department
- Annual renewal of permissions, for COFEPRIS, SEMARNAT or any other regarding the chemicals
- Report and follow up for every single shipment in transit as well as cost related information
- Management of reverese logistic when necessary to return parts in warranty to suppliers
- Coordination for drop shipments with suppliers and customers
- Customs Broker annual compliance update records (CPTK)
- Follow up for missing and mistakes into documents (export, BOL, COA´s, Letters, pedimentos, POD, etc) Review each entry to compare and detect missing and mistakes in documents (CI Vs FI Vs Price List)
- Follow up for missing and mistakes into documents (export, BOL, COA´s, Letters, pedimentos, POD, etc)
- Coordinate Virtual Exports by Nuevo Laredo
- Interaction and attention to request around samples/new products/new international suppliers with CS, sales rep, procurement and Technical Mgn
- Generate report from Cost with breakdown of taxes, to determinate % of variance in imports (ACP)
- Record and report savings to management
- Upload And Update in Software "Pedimento empresarial»
- Generation and custody of physical files (MV, HC, Pedimentos, Others)
- Update HTS code databases
- Support in fiscal and foreign trade audits (internal and external)
- Attention to training, updating of procedures or projects in trade compliance (DHR-EAS)

**Necesary knowledge & Skills**:

- Must be able to handle multiple priorities and with the ability to work autonomously with a level of ambiguity.
- Must possess solid judgment and high level of ethical standards

- Language: Bi-lingual Spanish & English; written and verbal

**Experience & Study**:

- Minimum 5 years' experience in imports from US for chemicals
- Bachelor degree in International Commerce or Administration
- ERP Management
- APICS Trainings or certifications on supply chain (desirable)
