**Business Analyst**:

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Supports business processes by providing IT standard solutions and initiating as well as supporting software development projects in the area of Production
- Understands business processes as well as needs, isolates key issues and reviews possible IT solutions and developments as part of complex IT analysis.
- Development and validation of IT concepts
- Qualified consulting of our Business-Partners regarding strategy compliant implementation as well as usage of provided IT solutions.
- Initiating and supporting of IT software development and rollout projects
- Interfaces with business owners and developers to document and translate business requirements into functional requirements as well as system specifications
- Planning and/or leading IT projects or sub work packages by considering economical as well as technical goals and guidelines
- Collaboration in IT innovation projects with the challenge to investigate new developments regarding the beneficial usage within ZF
- Besides covering the entire strategic software portfolio, a Senior Business Analyst is responsible for one dedicated strategic system and the related requirements engineering globally. Delivering the requirements as an input for the development strategy roadmap of the dedicated solution
- Support of strategic meaningful IT projects and programs as well as work on regional and local roadmaps and concepts to implement those (e.g. Digital Manufacturing Platform)

**Profile**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or engineering is required;
- Experience with business requirements engineering as well as in project management
- 3+ years of work experience as a business analyst, system analyst, solution analyst, requirements engineer, project manager or similar roles is required
- Ability to develop process flow diagrams, document business requirements (use cases), and document test/validation scripts.
- Knowledge about enterprise IT architectures, data integration concepts and production IT systems (MES, Scada)
- Knowledge about I4.0, IoT, iIoT and smart factory
- Ability to develop expert knowledge for dedicated IT solutions
- Critical and analytical thinking, communication, and research skills
- Knowledge of classic and agile project and software development methodologies (Scrum, Safe5.0)
- English speaking and writing skills
- Team player and highly self-organized
- 0 - 30% travelling
