As a **Senior S**upplier **Q**uality **E**ngineer**, you’ll be responsible for managing the quality a group of component suppliers that serve our businesses and in-house factories in the Americas.

**What you’ll do**
- This role is responsible for end-to-end quality & sustainability relationship with the allocated supply base.
- This role qualifies suppliers, validates, and releases components and related manufacturing processes using Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) methods and has the responsibility to veto if necessary.
- Responsible for defining and implementing supplier quality functional excellence initiatives.

**Your qualifications**
- ** Bachelor’s degree completed in Engineering.**:

- ** +8 years experience in Supplier Quality, mechanical components.**:

- ** Experienced in component release (PPAP, AQP) and problem solving (8D methodology).**:

- ** Has strong understanding of relevant commodity technology and business domains.**:

- ** Manage risks with a differentiated approach.**:

- ** Train SQ and AQP tools to suppliers.**:

- ** Define and implement improvement programs for suppliers.**:

- ** Understands financial implications of solutions and requirement.**:

- ** Strong leadership (indirectly) and communicative skills.**:

- ** Fluent in English is MANDATORY.**
