Guardian’s North America Glass division is currently seeking an individual to fill the new position ofLogistics Leader.This position will be based in El Marques Plant and is a key position reporting directly to Supply Chain Manager. We hire individuals who are highly self-motivated and contribution motivated. **The Logistics Leaderis accountable for **managing Logistics operations for finished goods, semi-finished goods & raw materials of El Marques site (inbound / outbound; domestic and cross borders). The role is responsible to develop logistics strategy to optimize customer service and transportation cost in alignment with the Regional and Local Sales & Operations Planning strategy (S&OP). The Role is responsible to maximize contribution for our 3PL operators. This position is focused on improving our cost to serve and customer service KPIs by having reliable and efficient logistics operations, transforming way of working to fulfill customer expectation and budget targets. The role is responsible for maximize scale and cost efficiency at regional level in partnership with USCA and South America Logistics teams.

**What You Will Do In Your Role**:
**The Logistics leader **is accountable for Mexico logistic team, attracting and retaining best talent for logistics department. Also, responsible to embrace Principle Based management culture and enable people development; empowering teams and foster challenge culture to unleash transformation though time. - Define and implement logistics strategy to enable Business key priorities.Ensure optimal logistics operation (fleet availability, on time arrival to plant, On time delivery) through KBX 3PL partner.

- Ensure logistics capacity by truck type according to S&OP cycles.
- Partner with KBX 3PL to procuring and designing the network; also, to drive cost savings and service improvement opportunities.
- Partner with USCA & South America Logistics teams to maximize scale as one single region.
- Partner with Customer experience team to achieve optimal service to customers.
- Ensure stewardship and compliance in cross border and custom operations according to imports / exports regulations.
- Coach and mentor of logistics team to embed principle-based management while foster people development plans.

**The Experience You Will Bring**:
**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s College Degree; Industrial Engineer or similar.
- Previous solid experience on Logistics (transportation): Domestic, Cross borders & customs operations. Over the road, Ocean and Rail.
- Experience managing 3PL providers (transportation & customs)
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess opportunities and lead the team in identification & development logistics alternatives that maximize value creation.
- Proven team leader, capable of develop team members.
- Must have demonstrated ability driving transformational change
- Proficiency in excel, TMS & ERP (transportation)
- Willingness to travel as needed; typically, 10-15% of the time.
- English Business Proficiency
