The Body Closures Hood and Fenders Design and Release Engineer is responsible to design, develop, validate and release hood, fenders and hardware systems under his/her responsibility for the assigned programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Hood and Fenders D&R is also responsible to look for design improvements that increase quality and optimize the cost / weight, complying with corporate and local requirements for parts validation, considering:

- WCR (Worldwide Customers Requirements)
- ES (Engineering Specifications)
- SDS (Systems Design Specifications)
- Manufacturing and assembly requirements

Utilizing robustness & reliability tools and lessons learned databases for failure modes prevention. Also responsible to support launch phases for parts incorporation at the assembly plant.
