**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Follow Lesson Plans: Implement the lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of instruction.-
- Maintain Classroom Discipline: Manage student behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.-
- Engage Students: Foster student participation and engagement in classroom activities.-
- Assess Student Work: Grade assignments and provide feedback when necessary.-
- Communicate with Staff: Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a smooth transition and address any issues.-
- Supervise Students: Oversee students during breaks, lunch, or recess to ensure their safety and well-being-
- Support Coordinators: Provide assistance to coordinators with administrative tasks or special projects as needed.Report to the Regular Teacher: Provide feedback on student behavior and performance to the regular teacher after their return.-
- Attend Meetings: Participate in staff meetings or training sessions when required to stay informed about school policies and practices.**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:
- Background in education or prior teaching experience, preferably in substitute roles.-
- Degree in psychology, education, or related fields that enhance understanding of child development.-
- Excellent ability to interact with students, staff, and parents.-
- Effective in managing student behavior and maintaining a positive learning environment.-
