**Job Description**:
**Overall Job Summary**: To support day-to-day import and export execution, ensure compliance to standards and support global initiatives for trade and customs enhancements.

**Core Responsibilities includes but is not limited to**:

- Coordinate and manage all regional import and export processes for commercial and NCG
- Ensure and manage efficient handling of customs formalities in cross-region trades
- Timely submit entries for customs clearance and ensure compliance with global rules, standards and regulations set by Global Trade & Customs
- Support opportunities to optimize regional customs and tax in line with local regulations and aligned with Global Trade & Customs department and strategies
- Communicate with state customs and other regional regulators
- Support global initiatives/projects with regional expertise,
- Closely collaborate with Tax and Accounting to ensure compliance with country requirements
- Act as local first contact to Regional Sales for cross-border questions for existing set ups
- Ensure compliance with global rules, standards and regulations set by Global Trade & Customs

**What You’ll Need to Succeed**:

- Deep expertise in import and export processes in region across all types of cross-border flows
- Strong understanding of global Trade & Customs rules and regulations for regional execution
- Solid overview on relevant regional market environment and cross-border trade relationships
- Strong communication & coordination skills
- “Can do” attitude to effectively resolve day-to-day issues and drive smooth process execution

- ** Fluent in English and local language**

**Qualifications**:

- Degree, preferably in Logistics or International Business
- 5-7 years of management background with transportation/logistics/Customs compliance
- 3-5 years experience with import classification
- Experience with import/export of garments preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of international import/export preferred
- Strong classification skills, with a thorough knowledge of HTS, Customs Rulings and Regulations, and Other Government Agency regulations governing Imports
- Highly knowledgeable of FTA’s, Mexico's Harmonized Tariff Code, and W.T.O. Explanatory Notes
- Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and in a high pressure, multi-personality, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with peers, internal customers, and vendors
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
