The group leverages this understanding of powertrain clutching technology to develop interactive control systems and strategies for all types of torque management.

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Financial Analyst at our SLP Plant in Mexico.

In this role, and under direct supervision of the Financial Supervisor, the Financial Analyst will be primarily responsible for the developing complex financial analyses. Periodically provides special reports and studies to Management. Responsible for the plant's annual budget process, expenses and statistical reports, including variance explanations and cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities
- Performs financial analyzes and supports other departments in the preparation of statistical studies.
- Preparation and review of the annual budget and monthly forecast with the different departments.
- Uploading the monthly result to Onestream/HFM.
- Preparation and uploading of the monthly forecast into OneStream/HFM.
- Perform inventory reconciliation.
- Prepares provision of guarantees.
- Support in the explanations of the monthly package for the results meeting with Management.
- Create financial quotation models (RSM) for the SLP plant.
- Performs the monthly closing process for assigned areas that includes account reconciliation.
- Ensures the integrity of accounting records by periodically reviewing accounting accounts for expenses and provisions.
- Prepares provisions for expenses and services pending receipt in the warehouse.
- Assists in the execution of the Annual Physical Inventory in conjunction with the Materials and Logistics team.

What we’re looking for
- Education: Public Accountant or Bachelor's Degree in Administration.
- Time of experience in a similar position: 2 years or more in a similar position.
- Technical knowledge required: General accounting, costs, budgets, financial statements, audits. This position will be in accordance with BorgWarner SLP current Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Management System designed and implemented under Mexican law and applicable national and international standards. Safety rules, practices and training are included as outlined in the BorgWarner Reynosa Internal Work Regulations, which include the use of equipment, protective devices and/or clothing required by the company. This position will perform in a manner that emphasizes the importance of preventing accidents and illnesses by assuming responsibility for those aspects of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System over which he/she has control. All reasonable precautions must be taken in the given circumstances for the protection of your own safety and health and that of co-workers. In addition, you will be responsible for reporting all injuries and/or possible hazardous situations, exposure hazards, incidents or accidents that occur to your immediate supervisor so that preventive and corrective actions can be take´.
