Ethical Cases Investigator

MISSION

Ensure, in your area of expertise, the prevention and management of ethical and/or compliance risks.

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS- Ensure the identification, detection and mapping of existing or emerging ethical and/or compliance risks.- Ensure the Group’s compliance with the laws and regulations applicable to it through the implementation of internal requirements and processes.-
- Ensure the coordination of compliance networks within the Group through collaboration with other departments and local ethics and compliance managers.- Provide any expert support to the Group's operational teams in matters of ethics and/or compliance; be the preferred point of contact for authorities and other external stakeholders in the relevant area of expertise.

MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Conducts interviews, proof analyses and conducts internal investigations related to non-respect of ethical behaviors (allegations of harassment, managerial behavior, conflict of interest, labor relationship, discrimination etc).
- Sends key documents to the persons invited to testimony in a case, draws up internal investigation’s reports including minutes of the interviews, synopsis and recommendations.
- Presenting the synthesis to the ethical committee for decision on each case.
- Uploads in the informatic system used to manage the ethical allegations interview notes, proofs, synthesis, final reports and updates in the system the status of each assigned case.
- Contributes to the Creation of a regional pool of investigators.
- Training of other local investigators (based on group training) and tutoring for the new ones in this role.
- Participate, with the other members of the Ethic points team at regional level, in the management of the ethical hotline.
- Participate in the follow-up of allegations (processing, deadlines, priorities) and in the management of data (statistics) for the region Central America High ethical standards and capacity to influence others on the respect of ethics Actively promoting “speak up” and zero tolerance for harassment and other unethical behaviors.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as in house or external investigator, min 5 years
- Managerial experience or HR experience are a plus
- Min. University studies, preferably with a specialization in legal, HR, psychology
- Fraud Examiner Certification is a plus
- Good understanding of the human behavior and human minds, capable of anticipating and interpreting human behavior based on solid listening, observation, and interpersonal skills.
- Have good writing skills, organized with the case documentation and rigorous in the investigation process
- Be a team player and collaborative.
- Available for travels between the sites of the AMC Region
- Very good command of English language, verbal and written
