ABOUT WHIRLPOOL CORPORATION

**The team you will be a part of**:

- The Procurement team identifies researches and evaluates suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. Recognizes and evaluate sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices. Assesses supplier's products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards.

**This role in summary**:
Description
- Manages supplier relationships to achieve Quality, Cost targets and Delivery performance. Manages productivity projects and supports day to day operation.
- Creates and executes sourcing strategy.
- Mitigate risk by having agreements with suppliers. This role will be responsible for managing a portion of the Stampings CBT Suppliers for Whirlpool's NAR operations.
- The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
1. Managing supply base to improve cost predictability and delivery performance

2. Identifying and leading cost-reduction efforts

3. Generating improved cash flow

4. Creating a strategy for each supplier

5. Working with other Commodity Business Teams to identify synergies, and consolidate supply base.

**Your responsibilities will include**:
Functions

1. Conduct the analysis (internal and external) to support development or refinement of the supply base strategy.

2. Support and/or Develop Commodity Strategy.

3. Negotiate value proposition with the suppliers such as: Consignment, DPO, Rebates, PO prices.

4. Methodically exit a supplier relationship (SBR strategy).

5. Responsible & Accountable for RFQ (Running changes, Megas, etc).

6. Select suppliers using RFx methodology.

7. Lead &/or support on Forecast activities.

8. Support on TCP & TCQ activities.

9. Support on Supplier Operation issues.

10. Lead & Support Target Cost activities.

**Minimum requirements**:

Bachelor's Degree:Engineering, Business, Supply Chain

English :Advanced

**Experience**:

- SAP ERP
- Project Management
- MS Office (focus on Excel)
- GS3 o like platform
- Negotiation skills (contracts and/or quotes)
- Logistics & Supply Chain understanding
- Lean Manufacturing
- Problem Solving
