As a Senior Consultant, IT- Quality Systems, you will be responsible for analyze business processes for a quality management system, from an IT perspective. This is an IT position, but heavily focused on customer interaction. You will be accountable for the proposal, analysis and detail design activities on cornerstone/enterprise or large projects. You will identify, evaluate, develop and/or redesign systems and procedures to meet user requirements.
In this role, you will also create detailed written user and functional requirements for developers and validation team. You will provide consultation to customers on business process redesign on large projects and will lead a team and analyze and make decisions that have cross functional business impact.

What you'll be doing
- Partner with the business to gather, understand and document business objectives, specifications, and requirements on enterprise/cornerstone and/or large size projects. Accountable for understanding interdependencies of systems for multiple businesses or functions.
- Generate SDLC business validation documentation (i.e., User Requirements Specifications, Functional specifications) including technical documentation such as Design Specification, Configuration Specification, etc Should be familiar and capable of trace matrix generation.
- Develop and execute system test cases, scripts and plans.
- Define, design and document business flows and processes.
- Define and articulate business rules required for data accuracy and consistency. Identify and resolve data quality issues. Act as the primary contact for the data management team/process
- Identify, analyze, resolve, document and escalate problems and issues that may impact the project. Use technical tools (queries, process maps etc.) for problem resolution.
- Communicate status, solutions, and concerns. Disseminate information in a timely manner within the team.
- Partner with the validation and technical teams to develop and execute unit/system test cases, scripts and plans.
- Provide ongoing end-user support by assisting with troubleshooting issues related to system functionality, testing, training and documentation.
