**What You Will Do**

We’re seeking a highly motivated **DEI TA coordinator **to deliver best-in-class recruitment services to our hiring partners. This is a new position and department. This leader has the exciting opportunity to execute and build on coordinator activities that will help grow our underrepresented talent at Johnson Controls. We’re looking someone who is innovative, determined, a connector and partners well with Talent Acquisition colleagues, executive leaders, and hiring managers.

**How You Will Do It**

As the **Diversity, Equity & Inclusion TA Coordinator **, you will:

- Support the diversity event lead with coordinating JCI’s involvement in diversity conferences
- SWE, SHPE, NSBE, NSN, and more
- Career fairs, hospitality suites, and other engaging event formats
- Schedule exploratory conversations and interviews for external prospects with executive level business leaders
- Assign open reqs to internal and external stakeholders where applicable
- Other coordination tasks as assigned.

**What We Look For**
- Direct and successful project coordination experience with diversity recruiting events through external partnerships and company sponsored events with clear KPIs
- 2 years of experience in TA or related.
- Advanced usage of excel, powerpoint, powerBI, and canva
- A strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges in building a diverse talent pool and the tenacity to overcome obstacles and challenges
- The ability to build relationships and work closely with key internal and external partners to prioritize external talent pipelining
- The ability to organize and present metrics from multiple sources
- Demonstrated knowledge, passion and understanding of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion principles
- Ability to use influencing skills to introduce new concepts and achieve adoption

Ideally, you’ll also have:

- Industry knowledge and general comprehension of relevant companies, engineering communities, and other technical resources
- Familiarity with OFCCP and EEO hiring laws
- Strong interpersonal skills, a team-oriented approach, and a desire to learn
